Further to the public meeting in November with regard to the proposed use of Mrs Adams bequest.  Thornhill Community Council were about to instruct a rigorous feasibility study when we received a letter from Dumfries & Galloway council advising of a further facility review. This new facility review by the council is to look at streamlining their assets and the original agreement made with the council with regard to the library and customer services being moved to the Duke William Building was under consideration in this new review.

Thornhill Community Council are currently in discussion with D&G Council with regard to this facility review and hope that the best and most favourable for all parties solutions can be found.
