Thornhill, Dumfriesshire  May 3rd – 5th

There has been LOT’s of speculation about whether or not this is the Thornhill Blues Festival re-incarnated and we would have to say, well – kinda/sorta!

After much negotiation with other artists, locals and venue landlords we came to the decision to make this one a multi-genre event. It’s being run all of us at Lewis Hamilton Music, and with the full co-operation of  the pubs involved, which were VERY busy last time around. It has to be said though, we probably wouldn’t have even thought about going for this project if the old one wasn’t so sorely missed.

The Friday evening looks like being distinctly traditional Scottish music, and we have some AMAZING performers signed up already. The sat/sun events will be more Rock, Bluegrass, Bluesy, World, and again we have some very high-calibre acts for you. If the music-loving public’s minds are open, and we believe they are, they’ll be rewarded by a very memorable cross-cultural weekend. If it’s a success it will be an annual event that will hopefully grow.
